Install Sproutkit
One command, a couple of keys, and you're discovering leads and shipping demo sites.
Minimum system requirements
Sproutkit runs comfortably on most computers from the last 5 years. Here's what we've tested.

Install with one command
Open Terminal on a Mac (⌘ + Space, type “Terminal”) or PowerShell on Windows, and run:
$ npm install -g sproutkit-code
$ sproutkit setupWhat setup does
- Asks for your licence key (from your welcome email)
- Asks for your API keys — see step 2
- Works out whether you're on an Apple Silicon Mac, an Intel Mac or Windows, then downloads and installs the matching Sproutkit desktop app
Installed this way, there's no Gatekeeper or SmartScreen warning to click through. Skipped the app during setup? Run sproutkit desktop any time, or sproutkit desktop --update for the latest version.
sudo in front of the command — if npm reports a permissions error, email us and we'll walk you through it.Add your API keys
Sproutkit uses your own Anthropic, Google Places and Vercel accounts so you stay in control of costs and data.
Anthropic API key
Powers AI site generation and the in-app chat. Add a small balance (~£5) to start.
Google Places API key (New)
Used to discover real local businesses. Google gives every account £160 of free credit per month, which is enough for thousands of searches.
Vercel access token
Used to deploy demo websites you generate. Free tier is 100 deployments per day.
Find your first lead
Open Sproutkit from your Applications folder or Start menu, click Leads, drop a pin on the map, pick a category, hit Discover. Pick a lead, click Build website. Watch your first demo site go live in under a minute.
